1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup vanilla custard powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
50 gm butter (unsalted and softened)
1 cup milk
Method
Sift flour, custard powder, baking powder and baking soda a couple of times.
In a mixer, add sugar and powder it.
Add butter to the powdered sugar and again run the mixer till its well combined.
To this butter sugar mix, add milk and blend for 3 minutes.
Pour this mix to the dry ingredients and mix well without any lumps.
Preheat the oven at 180 C.
Pour the batter into a greased tin and bake for 35 minutes.
Cool the cake to room temperature before taking it out of the mould.
