Poha Crispies

ingredients



1 cup thick poha
1/2 cup mashed potato
1 small onion, finely chopped
Ginger and garlic, finely chopped, 1 tsp
1 green chilli, finely chopped
Coriander leaves, 1 tsp, finely chopped
1 tsp each of chilli powder,coriander powder and garam masala
Salt to tste
Oil for deep frying

For the batter
1 cup besan
1 tsp ajwain
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp hing
1/2 cup water

Method
Soak poha in water for 5 minutes and drain.
In a bowl add mashed potatoes, onion, green chilli,, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, chilli powder, salt, coriander powder and drained poha.
Mix all ingredients with hands till it's combined well.
Make small balls with this mix.
In another bowl add besan, salt, chilli, ajwain, hing, turmeric and water and make the batter without lumps.
In a kadai, heat oil for deep frying.
Dip the prepared balls in the batter and deep fry.



Serve hot with pudina chutney.
