coconut chutney

Ingredients



Desiccated coconut, 1 cup
A piece of ginger
A small piece of onion, roughly chopped
Green chilli, 1, chopped
Salt, as per taste

For  tempering
2 tbs coconut oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal
2 dried red chillies
1 sprig of curry leaves



Method
In a blender, put coconut, salt, ginger, chilli,onion and 3-4 tbs of water and grind to a smooth paste.
Transfer the chutney to a bowl.
In a pan, pour some coconut oil, when the oil is heated up, add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter. To this, add urad dal, dried red chillies and curry leaves.
Pour this seasoning to the chutney.
Serve
