Vegetable Upma


Ingredients

1 cup of mixed vegetables (peas, capsicum, beans, carrot and cauliflower)
1 onion, sliced

2 green chillies, chopped
2 cups broken wheat/daliya
1 tsp. pepper powder
1 tsp. Ching’s Secret chow Mein miracle masala or Maggi magic masala
Salt to taste
1 tsp. garam masala
4 cups of water
2 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. ghee

Method

Heat oil and add onion and chillies and fry for a minute. Then add the veggies, salt, garam masala, pepper powder and Maggi or Ching’s secret masala. Fry for 3 minutes.
Pour water and bring it to a boil. Add daliya.
Cover and cook till daliya is done. Pour ghee on top. Mix and serve hot.
