This is a savoury cracker that goes well with your tea or
coffee. I got this recipe from Catherine Atkinson’s collection. The original
recipe is a bit more elaborate.
Ingredients
2 cups plain flour
100 gm. Butter
3 tsp. garam masala
1 tsp. finely chopped, fresh coriander and mint leaves
1 beaten egg
Method
Beat the egg till it is creamy and keep aside.
In a bowl combine the flour, garam masala and butter and mix
well with your hand. Add the coriander, mint and beaten egg and knead into a
soft dough.
Roll out the dough and cut out patterns of your choice with
a cookie cutter or a sharp knife.
Place the crackers in a greased pan and bake for 25 minutes
at 220 C in a pre- heated oven or till it is golden brown in colour.
Cool the crackers before serving.
