Ingredients
1 cup grated coconut
1 tsp chopped ginger
2-3 chopped green chilly
2 chopped shallots or 1/4 th of an onion
salt to taste
1/2 cup of warm water
Method
Grind all these ingredients together in a mixer and transfer it to a bowl.
For tempering
2 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 dried red chillies broken into pieces
few curry leaves
Heat oil in a pan. add mustard seeds and let it splutter and add red chillies.
Turn off the stove and add curry leaves.
pour this to the prepared chutney.
